Music Theory

• Curriculum based on Kostka-Payne's Tonal Harmony
  

• Designed to prepare the student for freshman-level music theory
  

• Requires previous music knowledge (note reading, rhythm, etc.)
  

• Age Requirement: high school sophomore, junior, or senior. Other ages may register with permission of the instructor.
  

• Fees:      Private tutoring, $35/hour
  

  Class: $25/hour

• Class availability depending on enrollment.
  

Music History/Appreciation

• Covers general terminology and trends of Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern/Contemporary Periods
  

• No prior music experience required
  

• Age Requirement: high school
